Dave J. Konstantin, President/Founder
With 35 years of experience working in the construction industry starting as a Union Carpenter on everything from Manhattan's skyscrapers to Restaurants and Nightclubs. For the last 20 years he has focused on building and remodeling San Diego' homes. Dave brings a tremendous wealth of expertise to K-CO's clients.
His desire to create both a successful family business and an ethical contracting company became the foundation for one of the most well respected home remodelers in all of San Diego. With 7 trophies from the Better Business Bureau and a staff that includes his wife, son, and daughter, Dave's dreams for K-CO have come true.
Dave's commitment to community involvement is an example to his staff, many of whom are active in their own communities throughout San Diego. Dave has served two terms as President of the Clairemont Town Council and 6 years on the Clairemont Mesa Planning Committee. He was on the Miramar Community Leaders Forum, and was twice appointed by the city manager to the San Diego Airport Advisory Committee. He is currently on the SDPD Northern Division Citizens Advisory Board. Dave is always involved in local politics and is regarded as a Community Leader. |

Ruby Gardner-Konstantin CFO/ Co Founder
Ruby spent 25 years in the banking industry and has a firm grip on K-CO’s finances. She also works on special projects throughout the year. Ruby is also very involved in helping women achieve their maximum potential. |

Chad Gardner, Vice President
Chad, Dave’s step son has been on construction projects with Dave since age 14. After finishing high school he went to SDSU and received a degree in Business Management. He brings this broad education to K-CO by managing the operations as well as the business end. Chad is also on the SDPD Northern Division Citizens Advisory Board and is Vice President of the Clairemont Town Council. He is also involved in all sorts of community projects. Chad has recently continued his education acquiring a certificate in Green Building, a subject he is very passionate about. |

Dalen Konstantin, Office Manager
Dalen grew up in a construction home and helped out in the K-CO office during High School. After graduating she was persuaded to join the family business permanently. She has advanced to the position of office manger. Dalen handles everything that needs to be done to keep K-CO’s office running smoothly. She is also found at every community event along with the rest of the family. |
Employees
K-CO strives to find the best Team members possible. We do this first by an extensive interview process. The other thing we do is offer employee benefits beyond the industry standard in an effort to attract and keep great people. We also offer a tool purchase program where workers can buy tools or equipment and pay us back over a period of time. We continually train and inspire our employees, which has resulted in many of our employees staying with us for years. This is not very common in construction. We consider them part of our family. One of our goals is to help them discover and live their dreams.
