San Diego Home Remodeling Can Make Big Changes

If we are going for prime use and function, going with a trusted home remodeling company will pay off. The rectilinear lines of the pedestal sink and the floor are contrasted with the arch of the mirror and above the window. Breaking up the geometric forms are the organic leaf forms on the light and the towel bar. The rubbed bronze faucet and wall-mounted lighting fixture stand out against the yellow faux finished walls and the alcove provides a place to tuck in a small storage cabinet for extra hand towels or soap. An obscured glass window brings in soft natural light. The room’s warm tones extend to the brick-colored ceramic floor tile, set on the diagonal for visual interest.

The clean lines of the white rectangular pedestal sink and matching toilet are repeated in the mirror, window, and French door. The ceramic stone-look floor tile is set on the diagonal to break up the geometry a bit. A handsome light fixture featuring the symbol of hospitality, the pineapple, coordinates with the palm frond design on the accessories. The golden metal of the light fixture is echoed in the faucet and towel bar as well as the border of the mirror. Home remodeling can be a big undertaking but can be well worth it if done right.

Like A Day Spa At Home

Spacious, luxurious, and sleek are just a few of the words one could use to describe this La Jolla master bath. The sink on the large vanity is offset to provide extended counter space for the woman of the house to spread out cosmetics and hair products while using it and the three drawers below offer space to stash it all when she’s finished. Her walk-in closet is just a step away. The husband has his own vanity, sink and mirror tucked beside the shower, a change from the usual dual sink master bath set up. As befitting a master suite, there are both a large white oval soaking tub and a dual-head glass-enclosed shower with a built-in bench. The second shower head is handheld. Blue pearl granite is used for the countertops throughout, with a polished travertine tile used for the floor and upper shower walls. Contrasting with the high polish of the granite and travertine is the rough finish used for the tub and lower shower surround, with trim pieces etched in a Greek key design. Cabinets are finished in a dark grey antiqued finish but the large windows and skylights keep the feel light and bright.
